Jiawei Wang

Biography

Jiawei Wang’s interest in earth science was sparked by his childhood experience of visiting beautiful landscapes throughout China (especially the one to Tibet!). The interest led him to the University of Science and Technology of China, where he learned geochemistry and decided to further his education. Now as a Ph.D. student, Wang will be conducting research related to the critical zone under the supervision of Prof. Nicole Fernandez. In his spare time, he likes travelling, hiking and listening to rock music.
