Cornell’s Earth and Atmospheric Sciences (EAS) has been selected to be an American Geophysical Union (AGU) Bridge Partner. The Bridge program partners with academic institutions across the United States to recruit and retain underrepresented students who are applying to geoscience graduate schools.

Both graduate fields in Cornell’s Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences have announced that they will be dropping the requirement for the general GRE test. The department is part of a national trend in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences to eliminate the GRE to promote equity and inclusion in the field.

Glorious to View - Cornell's Campus
After only one semester at Cornell's graduate school I am already pleased with the number of opportunities available for me to better myself academically and professionally. The flexibility in required coursework, state-of-the-art lab facilities, and supportive faculty are among the highlights of my experience so far. In the midst of a global catastrophe on the scale of COVID, I feel that Cornell has successfully met the challenges of maintaining a prosperous learning environment.
